We would warmly like to invite artists, creatives, visionaries and the like to our studio home on the island of Bornholm. This invitation serves as an opportunity to participate in a residency that offers a live-in, creative work experience.
In this residency we will provide:
Housing (single or double room)
Food and drink (primarily vegetarian / vegan)
Personal tours on the island (to our most secret and favourite spots)
Workshop access (tools limited to a wood and paint workshop)
Technical support
Many Danish artists have resided on Bornholm and the island therefore offers a wide range in art supply shops and material distributors. Art courses such as in ceramics and glass-making are also in high demand due to the island’s natural resources and the Royal Danish Academy for Crafts in Glass and Ceramics located in our neighbouring town Nexø.
Candidates we would like to consider are people who are open-minded, focused on their artistic journey and in need of a place to follow their artistic whims.

Practical info:
We offer 4 spots (September 2024 - September 2025) at 2500 DKK. The residency extends to a period of 5-10 days depending on the nature of the craft and the basis of your exploration.
We are located just a stone’s throw away from the beach, between Poulsker and Dueodde. We have bicycles available and bus services are readily accessible throughout the island.

Bowy is an artist and creative executive at WEYDE and the residency’s facilitator.
Peter is a contemporary artist and landscape painter and the host of the residency.
